The Goal for UDL Forward is to
Apply UDL thinking to design for learners who vary.
We will meet this goal through four specific programs. All of the content and events for these programs will be announced and made available in this community.
UDL Forward! Virtual Conference
Three days with different times to participate in live events, with on-demand content available 24/7. The virtual space is so much more engaging than face-to-face...and we have a lineup of national speakers with messages that make the need for educational justice loud and clear!
Learning Design Labs
Facilitation and coaching supports will assist participants to design flexible learning goals, students options, materials, and assessments for real-world learning design scenarios. Breakout rooms for educators can be provided for this in similar roles or with particular design needs.
UDL Blasts
Engage with UDL fundamentals and practice free technology tools that can be applied to remote and in-person learning contexts, used to support families, and easy to generalize to a broad range of users and purposes.
Community of Practice
Learn and share how expert learners develop and what's working in settings across Wisconsin. Conversations to push thinking, and critically examine UDL implementation priorities will help participants use UDL as a framing for education justices through a statewide professional learning network.
